Furthermore, the aim of the project is to enhance the knowledge on the potential for cross-border cooperation and to promote it, granting greater visibility of the SMEs in the region. » News12.01.2012/12:08ADC Project – 3 strategic agreements in food-farming, mechatronics and modern housing sectors signedIn 2011 important objectives have been achieved in the frame of ADC (Adriatic Danubian Clustering) project: from May until October three strategic agreements have been signed, aimed at the development and strengthening of clusters in the 3 sectors of food-farming , mecatronics and modern housing, which have been identified during project implementation as the main promoters of development in the SEE area. The agreements have been signed on the occasion of partnership meetings by 70 among clusters, enterprises, research centres, public bodies and local development agencies and thus represent a fundamental step forward toward the institution of efficient networks in the sectors identified. » 16.06.2011/12:27Partnership Event on Agro-Food ProcessingOn 15 and 16 June 2011 the Partnership event of the Agro-food processing sector in the framework of the ADC project “Impetus to the Future Agro-food Processing Network” took place in Sofia organized by Bulgaria Economic Forum. The conference was opened by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Mr. Tsvetan Dimitrov and attracted more than 60 participants. During the event the key ADC results – the best of the best practices in the sector, were presented. The culmination of the event was the signing of the Adriatic- Danubian Partnership Agreement for Agro-food Transnational Clustering by 37 signatories- representatives of clusters, branch associations and business supporting organizations in all partners’ countries and regions. During the second day of the event four round table discussions for the sectors wine, dairy, fruit & vegetables production and agro-food machinery took place, laying the base for future sectoral networks » 26.05.2011/12:18Third Meeting of the Regional Focus Groups in BulgariaOn 26 May 2011 the third meeting of the Regional Focus Groups for the strategic sectors of agro-food processing, modern housing and mechatronics took place in Sofia, organized by Bulgaria Economic Forum, the Bulgarian partner of the ADC project. Representatives of clusters and companies of all strategic sectors partook in the meeting. During the meeting detailed information on the coming partnership events – on agro-food processing in Sofia on 15-16 June 2011 and on modern housing in Maribor on 31 May – 1 June 2011 was circulated. Preparation of the partnership event in mechatronics in Bologna after the summer vacation was discussed and the acquisition of the information for the e-catalogue. » |
